Implementation of Mobile Learning in Mathematics Instruction for Elementary Second Graders

In this study, a mobile learning system (MLS) was developed and adopted to facilitate elementary second-grade students learn mathematics. A quasi-experimental design adopted. There were two models, including the typical instruction group (TI group) MLS group. The content is topic of multiplication. total 93 s-grade from four classes in public school Northern Taiwan participated research. Participants randomly divided into (47 participants: 22 boys 25 girls) TI (46 26 20 girls). received mathematics MLS, whereas those direct classrooms. All took pretest posttest achievement test interest scale assess their improvement after activities. findings revealed that had significantly better than addition, performance answering items comprehension application levels test.
